Mattaponi River
Here the river bends and the channels are deep. You may see large sturgeon splash and plunge out of the water. The nearby marshlands serve as home to thousands of migratory birds, waterfowl, fish and delicate plant species. Its’ ecosystem is a thriving wildlife habitat. This is the perfect destination for birders, nature lovers and people who seek natural wine, seasonal grilled meats and unique food parings.
Fresh From the Vine
The natural winemaking process intensifies the primary fruit flavors and aromas of each varietal grape. It is gratifying to capture the essence of each varietal grape and to drink it within recent memory of the growing season that produced it. Because there are no sulfites, additives or preservatives, our wine is intended to be enjoyed while its young and not aged on a shelf for years.
